Take a break from Jaipur palaces and temples and get ready to hit the stunning bazaars and boutiques for some surprisingly good retail therapy. Trust me, there’s loads of great places to shop in Jaipur you just have to know where to find them all. Jaipur is often overlooked as a shopping destination because the Amber Fort and City Palace among other stunning palaces, forts and temples steal the limelight somewhat. Still, it’s a shopper’s dream and you will discover great boutiques, bazaars and markets well worth taking a wander around, if you can drag yourself away from the places, forts and temples that is.
Whether you want to fill your home with Rajasthani rugs and brass ornaments or you just need to grab a quick souvenir these boutiques and bazaars will have you covered. Check out my list of the best places to shop in Jaipur.

Anokhi is known for it’s high quality Jaipur-style hand-printed or block-printed Indian and Western wear. Anokhi’s roots lie in Jaipur and the brand is known for its role in the conservation and revival of traditional Jaipur textile crafts.
Tip: Anokhi don’t give rickshaw/taxi drivers tips or commission if they bring you to their shop in Jaipur and so many drivers will tell you all sorts of stories (like Anokhi burnt down or is not open) so that they can take you to another shop that will tip them. Be firm and insist they take you to: Anokhi Farm, Todi Ramzanipura, Jagatpura, Jaipur… you’ll be glad you did.
